Love it here. Got a pepperoni pizza and garlic fries along with some drinks. Worker's were really friendly, bathrooms were clean and views were great.

We visited Drakes Barn. The pizza was great. The beers were delicious. Street parking was giving away the first 2 hours with a park app. So that was good. For an outdoor bar, there's lots of space. And everything seems spread out. Service was good too. Will definitely revisit soon.

Drake's: The Barn in West Sacramento offers a spacious outdoor area, making it a perfect spot to relax with friends, family, and even your furry companions. The venue's architectural design is impressive, providing various seating options such as beach chairs, fire pits, and open meadows for lawn games. The beer selection is extensive, featuring both their own brews and guest taps. For those who prefer alternatives, they also offer ciders and cocktails. The food menu includes a variety of pizzas and the ingredients are very fresh with flavorful combinations. I saw a number of people having bday parties so if you're going to come on a weekend and want to get a table I recommend making a recommendation

Drake's is one of my favorite spots in Sac for the spacious outdoor area making it perfect to bring the dogs. They have a good selection of beer, but also some ciders and cocktails. The cran peary spritz was a perfect cocktail if you like sweet and fruity drinks. Pizzas here are huge especially for around $20. I liked the margherita and The Range which is like a sausage combo pizza. Their artichoke dip is delicious despite it looking so intensely green.

What a fun place to hang out. After taking a 2 hour walk around town we decided to make a pit stop at Drake's. Thankfully we walked and didn't have to look and pay for parking. You even have to pay on a Sunday. The place was really hopping. Not too busy that it was crowed, but plenty of people to keep it lively. The line to get drinks was only 2 people deep when we were in line. Later it was around 8 people deep. The line is slow due to people have so many questions on there vast supply of beer, all in house made. Other people want samples, which they graciously give, but it all slows down the line. They don't serve root beer so I got a ginger ale. It comes with unlimited refills, but you have to stand in the drink line, which I didn't find worth it. One glass was really enough for the short time we spent there. This day they had a food tent. It was around bit pricy, but for the ambiance it was worth it. For $25 you get a generous helping of brisket, mac and cheese, roasted asparagus, and a roll. All fresh and delicious. The portions were really generous so that made it plenty to share between 2 people. I'd order it again. They also had tri-tip, chicken, and hot links as your Protein. The sides were coleslaw, or some others. I can't remember them all. The asparagus was perfectly cooked. Tender, but not soggy. I loved it. There was plenty of seating. All of the fire pit seating was taken by large groups, so no s'mores for us. I really would have loved to score a fire pit seat, but then it would have been difficult to eat our meal. It was better on a picnic table to really share the meal. All in all it was a great stop on our journey. There were tons of dogs there, so if you have a big dog this is the place to be. I highly recommend this place as a great place for an outing.

I heard about Drake's: The Barn when it first opened back in 2018 but didn't make my way there until today. I've frequented the San Leandro and Oakland locations and I love both places. You can never go wrong with a beer from Drake's! When we walked in there was an attendant checking IDs and handing out wristbands to the +21ers. This place is HUGE. There's ample outdoor seating with propane heaters, firepits, and a grassy area where kids can play. If you prefer sitting indoors, there is an indoor seating area too! What's nice about this location is that along with beer there are cocktails as well! There's a bar called The Wing that we hung out in watching a football game while sipping on some handcrafted cocktails after we had a beer. For food, we ordered pizza and fries. Everything was so good! The fries and pizza were a bit greasy, but it was a perfect pair with our beers. In all, Drake's: The Barn would be a place I'd visit again! The food and beer were good, the vibes were there.

Drakes has grown over the years so checking their website before arriving is recommended. They have theme nights, DJ and musical acts, holiday events, and food/beer specials - which is pretty cool and keeps things interesting. It's still the same for parking: it's street parking and free for the 1st two hours on weeknights. They still have a great variety of beers but have a much larger beverage menu of cocktails and mocktails. They have a larger selection of food to order, too, but I'm not a big fan of their pizzas because toppings are sparce. You can still order via your cell phone and they deliver your food/drinks to your table.

Drake's: The Barn is one of those unique places in Sac that's great for any and everything. I've visited several times for different occasions including date night, yoga at Drake's, Drake's night market, and most recently Barnflix. Drake's is a cool outdoor brewery with a menu of food and drinks, and tonight, I took advantage of the Wednesday personal pizza and pint deal for $15! You order at the bar, then receive a text when your food is ready. Staff are friendly, and the place always feels very vibrant and lively. There's plenty of seating options, and my favorite spot to enjoy a cold beer is by the fire pits. Pro tip: they're reservable! I usually don't order food, but tonight, I had a pepperoni pizza to pair with my bold rush golden ale. The pizza had a nice char on the crust from the wood fire oven, and it wasn't greasy at all! It tasted great with my easy to drink ale. Portions were perfect for me, and I'll definitely be coming back for more!

I've been to Drake's: The Barn a few times over the years and it is such a cool venue. I love the architecture of the building/awning and that it is so open and welcoming for families, groups and dogs. I've been in the day and at night and both are great options. They have a variety of drinks available, including their beer on tap. On my latest visit I opted for their amber first and then tried a nectarine cider that they had in cans. The line to grab drinks moved quickly and the drinks were nice and cold. During peak hours, especially after a baseball game or during some of their events the lines can get longer but you can plan ahead for that. We've brought our dog here every time I've visited and he loves it. There is enough space that you can walk around with your dog and avoid others, or have them meet each other if your pups are friendly. They also offer food, which is great for groups with shareables like pizza, wings, dips, and flat bread, as well as other options like burgers and other bar foods. Parking is mostly street parking and it's a lot of free two hour parking which is great. If you have a big group this is a great spot!
